How to Add a Server Resource Pack
Automatically apply a custom resource pack to all players joining your server.
What is a Resource Pack?
A resource pack enables you and other players to customize and change the appearance of the game by customizing textures, sound, fonts, and much more without altering the game code directly. This can be used to showcase the genuine beauty of your server.
Adding a Resource Pack
To add a resource pack to your server, you have to provide a direct link to the resource pack as a ZIP file (generally a download link from the author's website).
Add this link next to the resource-pack= property in the server.properties file.
Options
| Property | Description |
|---|---|
resource-pack | Direct URL to the resource pack ZIP file |
resource-pack-prompt | Optional custom message shown on the resource pack prompt |
resource-pack-sha1 | Optional SHA-1 digest to verify the integrity of the resource pack |
require-resource-pack | When true, players are prompted for a response and will be disconnected if they decline |
