How to Start Your First Minecraft Server

From empty panel to a joinable world in under two minutes.

Introduction

You've bought a Minecraft plan and the panel is staring at you. Here's exactly how to get a server running and your friends connected.

Step-by-Step

  1. 1Open the Game Panel from your client area
  2. 2Click your server name in the list
  3. 3On the Console tab, click the green Start button
  4. 4Wait for the log to print Done (X.XXs)! For help, type "help"
  5. 5Copy the server address shown at the top of the panel
  6. 6Open Minecraft → Multiplayer → Add Server
  7. 7Paste the address and click Done
  8. 8Click Join Server

You're in. The first start always takes the longest, Minecraft is generating your world.

Useful First-Time Commands

Type these into the panel console (no leading slash):

  • op YourUsername, make yourself admin
  • gamemode creative YourUsername, switch yourself to creative
  • whitelist on, block strangers from joining
  • save-all, force a save

Tip: Set your view distance to 8 in server.properties for the smoothest 5–10 player experience.

What If It Doesn't Start?

  • Check console for "Failed to bind" → port conflict, contact support
  • Check console for "Out of memory" → upgrade RAM or remove plugins
  • Check console for "EULA" → set eula=true in the eula.txt file

See the demo panel if you want to click around before buying.
