How to Set a Custom Server Icon
The 64Ć64 image that shows next to your server name in the multiplayer list.
Introduction
That little image next to your server name in the Minecraft multiplayer list is called the server-icon. It's a 64Ć64 PNG and takes 30 seconds to set up.
Step-by-Step
- 1Create or pick a 64Ć64 pixel PNG image
- 2Name it exactly
server-icon.png(lowercase, no spaces) - 3Open the panel ā File Manager
- 4Navigate to the server root (where
server.propertieslives) - 5Click Upload and drop the PNG
- 6Restart the server
The new icon shows up in the multiplayer list within a few seconds of a refresh.
Icon Design Tips
- Use 64Ć64 exactly, anything else gets rejected
- PNG with transparency looks crisp at small sizes
- Bold shapes read better than fine detail at 64px
- Test against both light and dark backgrounds

Warning: If the icon doesn't appear, the file is probably the wrong size. Re-export at exactly 64Ć64 and re-upload.
